Meet Marianne

Hi, I'm Marianne Kane, former cardiac nurse, certified personal trainer, and owner of Marianne Kane Fitness LLC.

I help adults get stronger, move well, and make their training more effective through personalized in-home fitness coaching in the Garnet Valley area.

Some of my clients are returning to exercise after time away. Others are already active but want experienced guidance, a more personalized approach, or simply to know that the time and effort they're putting into their training is actually getting them where they want to go.

My goal is to help you build strength and fitness with a realistic, sustainable approach that fits your life, whether you're starting again, already training, or somewhere in between.

My Story

My interest in strength training became personal when I was diagnosed with ankylosing spondylitis, a chronic inflammatory arthritis, in my twenties.

What began as a way to manage symptoms eventually became something much more important. Strength training helped me maintain function, improve my quality of life, and develop confidence in what my body could still do.

That experience continues to shape how I coach today.

I understand that fitness is about far more than appearance. It's about being strong, moving well, enjoying the activities you love, and investing in what your body can do for the long term.

Over the years, I've coached thousands of individuals both online and in person through MyomyFitness, later Marianne Kane Fitness. I was also a co-founder of Girls Gone Strong and Get Glutes, and my YouTube workout channel was recognized by Shape Magazine as one of the Top 10 Workout Channels on YouTube.

My Approach

My coaching combines evidence-based fitness with a practical understanding of real life.

I focus on:

  • Building strength safely and progressively
  • Helping you get more from the time you spend training
  • Improving movement, fitness, and physical confidence
  • Creating a realistic approach that fits your life
  • Adjusting your training as your needs and goals change
  • Providing expert guidance, accountability, and support

This isn't boot camp training.

It's personalized coaching designed to help you get stronger, train effectively, and stay fit for the long term.
